Hi everybody,

I’m super excited to tell you that the Snowball fundraising is now live! 🥳

You’ve expressed some interest in the past so that’s why you’re receiving this e-mail. If you want to keep receiving updates about Snowball (the business I mean) you can remain a subscriber, but if you don’t want to, you can click on unsubscribe at the end of this e-mail.

I’m gonna keep this message short as you’ve got plenty of stuff to read in other documents. Here are some important things to keep in mind:

• 🚨 Remember that investing in a startup is extremely risky (even when it’s called Snowball)! You can lose your entire investment, and your investment is illiquid (it’s hard to sell it to someone else before an event like a sale or an IPO).

• 🤔 Why am I raising money? Simply to start building the financial hub I’ve always wanted to use. A wealth management super app to be more precise. I’ll need to build a team and seek more expensive accreditations. More about that in the investment memo at the end of this email.

• 💰 How much am I raising? I’d like to raise between €1 million and ∞.

  • I’m selling 10 % of Snowball’s equity.

  • At a $10 million valuation (€8.83 million).

  • Anybody outside the US can invest.

  • Only accredited US investors can invest.

  • The valuation will rise automatically on Fairmint after the first million is raised.

• 🥳 Currently, more than 3000 Snowballers have expressed an interest to invest more than €5.8 million.

• 💵 Minimum to invest in the beginning: $1500 (≈ €1325) —> 🚨 I might have to increase this minimum quite quickly again (it was 1100 $ in the beginning) because I can only allow a maximum of 2000 investors outside the US. Therefore, I might have to maximize the fundraising amount over the number of investors by quickly increasing the minimum amount.

  • The easiest way? Using your USDC (a stablecoin).

  • The second Easiest way? Wire transfer with Wise (credit card, PayPal, or wire transfers are available on Wise). You can use my referral code to avoid fees for the first €500 transferred (I get €90 every 3 people sending more than €250).

  • The third easiest way? Revolut.

  • 🚨 For your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification (Identity Card, Passport, driving license, etc.) don’t hesitate to take a picture of your ID closer than what the app will ask you (and you can also use a landscape mode instead of portrait). Like the screenshot below. I’m saying that because KYC can be a bit tricky. In any case, if the app can’t recognize your KYC, I will receive a notification and will be able to validate or invalidate them manually.

    

• 💸 If you want to invest, you can visit www.invest.snowball.xyz. There are many pieces of information on the investing portal… (it’s better to do it on desktop).

• 📜 …But I highly recommend you to read the entire investment memo here (in English or French) because you’ll learn plenty of stuff about what I want to build.
